I also investigated companies such as Patagonia which maintains a strong reputation as one of the few clothing brands taking active measures to reduce its environmental impact via its Worn Wear service; one where consumers send in damaged clothing, and the service will repair it at virtually no cost. This has won Patagonia the lifelong loyalty of many consumers. I wanted to leverage this same quality of selflessness in this work as represented by Mendworks and its proactive repair kit.
